Swain Health Forum

Indivisible, an organization in Swain Co., is sponsoring a Health Forum to discuss why Swain County placed among the highest in NC for poor health outcomes in the 2021 Community Health Needs Assessment (click the link at the bottom to read it in its entirety). We are excited to be invited to participate in the forum and the following health fair.

The forum will take place on thurs, Oct. 12th at the Courthouse from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Health fair will be the following day from 9 a.m. until 3 pm located at the Bryson City United Methodist church Fellowship hall. We will provide brief anxiety and depression screenings for children and adults, provide information and support and handout free resources and fidgets.
